Weekend is over...what did you get done?

I didn't do anything to my 96, but I bought a 89 Cherokee Laredo 4x4 for $500 bucks on Saturday. Motor needs some work but the person I bought the Jeep from threw in another motor that she had bought to swap it out.

I've got to do some work to the engine to get it running. Right now it is just sitting in the back yard. It has a massive oil leak from the rear main and a knock which, depending on when you listen and how much oil it has in it, sounds like either a lifter or a rod.

She gave me an engine she bought for it that suppossedly runs which I am going to swap into it but it will probably be a month or so before I can do that.

I've posted pictures on my myspace page. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/ind...iewPicture&friendID=145631696&albumId=2556776

Sounds great, the only problem I have is getting it to your shop. I don't have a trailer I can put it on. The girl I bought it from brought it to my house on a trailer and I paid her for the gas to get it there.

When I say massive oil leak, I mean when you run the engine it is pouring out the back of the motor. Just moving it from the front yard to the back yard used almost a quart of oil. I'd have to put a couple of oil drums in the back to get it to your house.

Worked Saturday 2nd shift....left work and got to Winston about 1am this morning...then spent the day putting a new AC compressor and fan shaft assembly on the Jeep.

But it is our fall break, so technically my weekend doesn't end until 8am Wednesday morning :D

Added some grade 5 bolts to the front bumper.
Painted the roof of the storage shed.
Went to Agri-South in Florence and bought some stuff!
Fixed the Riding mower with the stuff.
Changed the oil in the heep.:repair:

I was out at the local sand pit and found a boat. So I decided I would try and climb it, first obsticle besides mud pits for the 36" tires I put on a while ago weeks ago. I couldnt climb it at first but a couple times hitting it with the bumper broke the side and then I was able to climb up.

Here's a couple pictures.
