Weekend is over...what did you get done?

I parked the jeeps for an extended sit. Off to do the Army thing. It was a blast representing the SEC and I thank y'all for the opportunity.

Hope it all goes as you have planed. Thanks for serving!

Nick we wish you the best. We don't get too involved in the SEC because we're so far down here but I am glad we got to wheel with you a couple times my friend.

Meet with Geico and they seem to think it was a shopping cart that scratched my car. Oh well IDC they payed the claim and it will be fixed soon. Working on an 01 TJ exhaust manifold upgrade tonight.

Sold our old faithful '97 ZJ this evening. I gave Wendy the minimum amount of the money that we were willing to take for it, and I kept the rest as a bonus. Now I have to figure out what to do with that little stash of cash....:D

Last week I found a stash of disposable and 35mm cameras in my garage. I had no idea how old they were or what was on them so I sent them in for developing. One of the rolls had pictures of my wife with her grandma, who died in 2008 and some of the dog we put down in 2009 which she sure appreciated being able to see.

Another roll documented when I did an interior swap from vinyl to cloth and installed a full center console in my second XJ. I sold the grey XJ (my first) in 2009 and the while one (my second) in 2006 I would guess. We moved from the house where these pictures were taken in 2007.

Pretty cool stuff to just find out of the blue.

My wife stuck her head in my office yesterday and told me there was oil on the garage floor under her WJ. I said, "Yeah, it has a small oil leak, but I know about it and am on top of it." She asked, "well, when did that start?" I looked up and told her, "it's a Jeep. It started when they pulled it off the assembly line!"

My Friday started with Trunk or Treat at church and Saturday Jack and I made a road trip to Chattanooga. Tyler at RSOR got some work done on my D30 that needed to get done.

Whoo Hooo! This is starting out to be a great weekend!

Good weekend for me as well. Got my Currie TRE replacements in the mail and got my z71 back on the road after 8 months of slowly rebuilding and upgrading my 4l60e. Shifts nice and firm but not obnoxious.

Now it's time for the XJ to get some serious love.

Took the GF to Diner Friday night then went back to her house and burnt some of the pile of tree limbs that needed to be addressed. Saturday was supposed to be a TJ work day but rain canceled that. Sunday went coat shopping with the GF and then watched the Walking Dead.

Did the headliner in Wendy's ZJ. It all went fairly well except for the glue I bought. I got it from the same place I bought the headliner material from. They're the experts so I went with their suggestion. It sucked. Wound up having to go buy another brand to finish the job.

I'd rip it off.

X2. I was just thinking "that's one expensive roof slider"

Not many trees in FL.

I just registered for my last semester of skewl.

Tree's not worried about them going to build a skid plate/ rub rail to add to the rack to protect it and we don't do a lot of rock crawling since we live in Florida (lol) and the few trip's we do take up north we tow the rock buggy to play with up there
