This is the only chrome on my jeep. I shortened my tailpipe since it was pointed directly at that bushing and bolt. I just threw on that downturn pipe to keep the heat away.

looks like a leaking rear axle seal or wheel cylinder too :(

Yep. It's an axle deal.

Weekend is just beginning. Already got stuck last night.

I invite you both to come play in Carolina Clay. At least mud comes off. Carolina Clay don't come off...period.

Spent my weekend down in Charleston visiting a buddy from college. I've never been down there before and always wanted to go, and having a place to crash at makes it that much easier to do so. Wound up going to a beer festival at the ball park then over to one of the bars downtown to finish up the night. It was definitely a much needed weekend away from town and i'll pay for it when it comes time to wake up for work in the morning...

Where'd ya go in Charleston? Lots to do there. It's fun to walk around in.

Well my buddy who lives there is on crutches still from a bad car accident earlier in the summer, so we mainly explored downtown by riding around in his Jeep. The only places we really walked around at were the ball park, Mad River Bar afterwards, and then today before I left to come home we went over to the pier at Folly Beach.

Drove the waggy to work today. Its about a 23 mile drive with a small stretch of 65MPH. Got it up to 70 and she drove pretty strong. Steering seems a lil off still will have to play with that some more. Lockers gave me no problems. I think the gears are breaking in well. Gonna change my diff fluids here soon just to verify everything is good. Make sure I don't have any big metal shaving in there.

Once again thanks to everyone that helped me with my build.

Cool, my uncle used to live in Folly. It's really nice around there if you can deal with the traffic and crazy one way streets.

The one way streets didn't bother me. However, just about everybody else was highly confused by them.

Right as I was shutting down my computer at 5:00 for the first time, bossman came and pulled everybody in the engineering office out to the shop floor to hustle on assembling some switches from the ground up. Ones that were supposed to be built this morning and ship early afternoon. The truck had been outside waiting for 4 hours before we began building....

Didn't get home until almost 7 and was going to try and mow before it got dark. Filled up the gas tank on the mower and then watched it all run right back out the back. Attempted to save what I could but wound up basically covering myself. After a few choice words and ripping the tank off, I see that it's got a crack right in the seam.

Now, trying to figure out a way to fix this POS or find a new tank on the cheap. It's a 12 year old mower which doesn't help. Really not trying to put any money in this thing as it was loaned to me by a friend who wasn't using it anymore.

try ereplacementparts.com, I use them whenever I need parts for my chainsaw or other tools.
