Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Does your gauges have shreader(spelling?) valves in them? I have had issues with my gauges not giving good readings and its been the valves sticking every time. I've since just removed the valves and I get truer readings.
it's schrader... and I hate when those darn things stick!

some light wheeling in the rain, then put an 8.8 under my buddy's cj, and then i washed my jeep and did some cleanup work on the paint around the bottom....

i either need to trim my fenders all the way, or just clean them up, keep the flares and just lift it some more....

dont get on much, but i got my 16" fox air shocks in my room. 14 bolt in jeep. chevy 60 almost in, but then changed course to air shocks.

shock hoops, tie into dovenose
bumpstops f/r
mount orbital valve
make steering linkages
clean up jeep. to many bees in it due to it siiting so long.

Did a head job on a 97 xj. Got her runnign today and apparently she still needs a waterpump.... Might have a 97 xj for sale soon.

Im always in the market... if the price is right. Let me know. I need a stocker for a DD, and my 15 year old sister needs a First car.

Shoot me some pictures please.

[email protected] or PM, phone is currently crushed, new one will be here tomorrow.

Nope. Throttle valves on the gauges them selves, and ball valves on the coupler fittings.

It is the Harbor Freight set, and I didn't use to put a whole lot of faith in it, but comparing to my old mans set that cost a couple hundred bucks it's pretty darn accurate. He's picked up a couple of recovery machines from friends of his that are getting out of the A/C business. Trying to talk him into letting me "borrow" one :D

Its nice to see while I'm working my balls off some of y'all think about me from time to time. Tim is a fantastic help when my brain shuts off. I would like to have A/C in the XJ. Everything he says has been spot on. The only thing "retro-fitted" was the fittings to hook up the machine. When the a/c worked it had the original r12 compressor from 1992 that would grind like normal...but work. Now it just kicks on and nothing happens! Any sort of direction to go? Everything on this thing is straight outa '92!

i'm debating on removing all the a/c stuff. gives room for my battery. after dovenose and 16" air shocks there wont be anything left

Made a wiring harness to hook up 1999 XJ power accessories into a 1997 XJ wiring harness that does not have the power accessory wires that is going into a 1987 MJ.

Bought a CB finally. Now I need to get that joker hooked up.

Bought another XJ a/c fan for a dual fan set up, putting a 10" electrical fan on the A/C condenser to use as a back up.

Found a 2 row CSF radiator at the junkyard in an XJ, gonna pull it today and keep as a back up.

Since the last time I was on here, I've installed some second hand deavers in the rear and a set of HD Engineering shackle relocation brackets. Huge increase in both on and offroad ride quality, but now my pinion angle is a little bit off. I'll probably yank the axle out and weld on another set of brackets.

Next on the list is fixing the small crack I found in the 'frame rail' over the rear axle when I did the springs and a full set of frame stiffeners to help prevent any further crackage. After that, long-arms and maybe some softer coils in the front to even out the ride (the rear is so much smoother than the front since getting the deavers and bilstein 5100s; is it wrong that I now go out of my way to drive over speed humps without slowing down? :D).

By the way, my new job is on a 3 week on / 3 week off schedule and I'll be hanging out down here in Atl for the winter (at least) on my time off, so I'm down for any camping/wheeling opportunities that may present themselves.

Did a little bit of work on the Jeep yesterday to try and get it running better. New set of plugs and replacement of the OEM ignition coil with 164K on it seem to have made an improvement. Not sure just yet if it's taken care of the stumbling problem.

That might be a little too short notice! I'm actually going flying tuesday. Among other things (like camping, wheeling, and wrenching on the jeep), I'm trying to finish my private pilot's license and work on my instrument rating and commercial ticket while this 3 on/3 off job lasts.
we'll go again in two weeks, if anybody is interested. otherwise, i might just sit at home and make faces at my ol' lady, lol.
