Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Ordered new gears and install kit for my 8.8...finally.

Will be ordering shocks later today, and Ubolts for it. Ive nearly got everything to do the lift!

Oh...nothin to do with the jeep...but im rejetting my motorcycle as well...nearly done with it.

i changed out all the brakes, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, and rear main seal on my old cj, which i traded to my buddy for a full size grand wagoneer.... i'm kinda jealous, i miss my cj, but the waggy is pretty sweet.

yeah i know... i have another buddy that wants to sell me his cj7 with 85k original miles on it for around a grand next summer, and the little woman says i can't have two cj's... i have had this one since high school, though. there are a lot of great memories there. and the waggy gets crappy mpg action. at least the guy who got the cj5 is one of my best buddies, and would let me drive it or trade back anytime i wanted to...

Tore apart an IFS yesterday, drove back to Charlotte last night, hung out at a party for a couple of hours. Woke up this morning ran some errands then went to work for a little bit to try and actually make some money rather than spend it!

scraped off the tint on my new doors
replaced transmission mount
put my new front driveshaft in
installed and wired up electric fan on front of radiator
wired up my new windshield wiper switch (sucks to have to turn them on with pliers)

plan on changing out my front axle seals on thursday... they are already leaking...

almost forgot...

im working on reworking the "wrangler" into "genral"

and when i get the tub painted OD it will make more sense.

Picked up and installed my 8.8! 4.10 gears, disc brakes, limited slip. Oh yeah, filling this axle with 75-140 synthetic BLOWS!!! $60 later...I paid almost half of what the whole axle cost to fill it! Of course my parts store only had Mobile One at $19/quart so I had no other options. In the future, I'll order some Lucas for $10/quart.

Now if it would only stop raining so I can see how much better it runs, definitely accelerates harder and spins the tires alot easier.

Not the weekend, but another task knocked off the list.

Rear diff fluid and lubelocker gasket.

Next up: front and rear brakes and fluid.
After that: front axle u-joints.
Then: new clutch kit for the Ford Ranger ><
