had to keep you guessing for a minute...
bought the basis for the buggy last night. 06 rubicon tub thats been wrecked in the rear. front section that i had planned on using is in perfect shape and the only damage is in everything im gonna cut off, for 80 bucks i couldnt say no
. once sams jeep is done ill start cutting this up and getting it braced up to build a frame under it.
.... so yeah, i own it and it says jeep on it, so technically its my new jeep

Left at 4:30am yesterday morning for my cousin's college graduation in Raleigh that started at 9am. After that met up with Nick to help (read: supervise and drink beer/adult sodas) replace the CV axles on his Civic. Brought my car over to the shop he works at this morning for a new tire (after we discovered in the rain yesterday that my bad tire was worse than I thought as I couldn't do over 45mph in the rain w/o losing control), an oil change, and an alignment.
Pretty productive weekend. Definitely enjoying 30+mph and cruise control in a DD now!

Friday: Drove to Sanford,NC at the spur of the moment to pick up some more H1 rims and tires. Foot was bothering me.
Saturday: Installed ac bracket that Matt sent me. Thanks Matt! Worked perfect! Engine runs without the horrible noises now. Pulled the booster and tried to reseal it. (Should have listened to Lennie....) Foot was bothering me so I called it a day at 2 or 3 ish. Went to eat some at a local wings and ale place. My bud William and I sat and chilled for a couple hours.... the waitress wa a hot asian chick he is good friends with... went home about 10 or so.... foot started to get worse...
Sunday: Woke up in the night thinking I needed to cut my foot off. slept very little, hurt like hell. Spent most of Sunday in a lazyboy chair with the foot proped up and watching movies with William. Watched Rock Balboa, Rambo, Tokyo Drift, and Lucky Number Slevin.

Didn't do anything. I didn't feel the greatest this weekend. Sucks when you have new tires and you don't even feel like installing them on the Jeep.
I did watch Ronin on Sunday and they have an XJ in it that is almost an exact clone of mine. The grill was a little different. At least they didn't wreck it.

Simple stuff.
Changed oil, flushed and filled radiator, installed cd player and ran new speaker wire to my front two speakers.
Will get pics up of the radio in the next day or so.

Replaced cracked stock exhaust manifold with a new CROWN manifold and gasket. New Walker downpipe, New MagnaFlo highflo cat, New DynoMax superturbo cat back system.
Cleaned out the intake manifold while it was off.
Replaced blown out motor mount while the manifolds were off.
Now she can finally breathe properly!
My buddy came and helped me on Saturday... It was a good day.
