we got a puppy!

he's a 10 1/2 week pure bred border collie. his name is tugger :cheers:

hopefully soon he can get out and jeep some dogging spotting time under his collar,

Cool dog man. I got my blue heeler, Battle, to learn the phrases "Mount up" and "Dismount" for the Jeep. I think its pretty cool. He loves to just hang out in the back seat most of the time.

so thats six things my 8.50 an hour can be spent on....

I know the feeling man. I'm guessing that pup isn't already fixed? I gotta take mine in this month, going to run me about $250. And don't forget the vaccines. Puppies are costly in the beginning, but well worth it. Can't believe I haven't had a dog since I was in high school.

were not getting him fixed, we plan on him making more puppies later. but yea all his shots are going to kill my wallet, plus the kitten's shots and stuff.

Just an FYI for you Sherman guys: Take your pets up to Frieda Wells in Durant( Bryan County Animal Hospital ) for shots or whatever. Excellent vet, lots cheaper than any of them in the sherman/denison area. Been taking pets there since I was a kid. Have three labs now and wouldn't take them anywhere else.

Thanks for info! My pup has already gone through all his rounds, just got to keep giving him his heartworm prevention meds. With his shots over with I may be able to scratch some money together for the Jeep.
