Like Old man said sometimes it pays to check the basics. Back in the day, the first thing I'd check when my old carburated truck started crapping out on the interstate is the pump or filter.
A little tip, I use an old freon 12 gauge to check my fuel pressure. The hose is long enough I can tape the gauge to the windshield wiper. The refrigerant hoses are sturdy enough you can shut the hood.
