Want to wheel high lakes? Outside chico ?

Last time I went there I came in through Highway 32.

OK cool good to know.

So its just me and you going at this point - unless Pat gets a Tcase in this weekend ?

I invited a buddy from the bay to copilot for me.

We need a place to park his super nice BMW car - any ideas of anywhere along the way? We parked his car by the lake on slick rock last year once and that worked out well for slick rock.

No worries if you no longer want to go BTW- I wouldnt blame ya.

Some forecasts say chance of rain after mid night friday. some say no rain.

Very happy to be home ...

not too many. we spent a lot of time trying to figure out where we were. Need to start bringing gas cans on unfamiliar trails...

for those who don't know- the north side is where all the wheeling is, the south side is mellow- but we never made it to the north side, the route 614 did not go through and we were worried about gas going up by pipe jam since we were low...

on top of 6M40 before we dropped into 6M41(never go in 6M40...)

Only photo I have

I think we did about 50 miles on dirt trails. I think only two of the trails were marked. Lots of logging roads in the area, many that dead end after a short distance. Good trip though.

Well the weather held for you anyway. Will you be doing it again soon now that you know more about the area?

Yeah lou and I ate talking about going back but going straight to the north side

I have solid directions to the north side we will be fine but i would love it if josh could go

Yeah, it is a business trip as he has non of the trails on his site so I would think this would be mandatory for him to go.

Would we still need to take petrol?

Probably not- but its not a bad idea to have even an extra 2 gallons....

me too.
everywhere I go is at least 3 hours, except fordyce.
it took me like 5 hours to get to the Rubicon once. From Sac.

Dang 5 hours from Sac?!
I wish I was able to go on this trip... :( Sounded like fun! Finishing up the jeep a little more this week, let me know if you guys are going again, or doing anything in the Bay!

Rubicon is close to me but If you leave at say 530 or 6pm on a friday night I don't see you getting there before 10pm -Traffic, then we usually stop for dinner, groceries, gas, etc, and it takes forever to get up Ice House...
