Want to wheel high lakes? Outside chico ?

Anyone want to plan a high lakes trip? Ive never been there but it looks awesome . Want to get a small group going. Not sure on difficulty ? plan to wheel the comanche up there since the xj still needs cage work and seats

Since its open year round, whereas most forests don't have trails opening until mid April, I was thinking in the next 4-8 weeks or so. I still have some odds and ends to button up on the MJ but nothing major .

If I had to just throw a date out there, I would say March 20th through 22. I don't think I can go before then but if I could it would be closer to a week ahead notice.

Thats an arbitrary weekend at this point so I am open to whatever.

I cant do the weekend of the 8th of March or really any weekends before that, or the weekend of the 4th of April.

Yeah you do need to get something. 3", 33s, and some cheap lockers will do most of the trails up here just fine, maybe sans fordyce .

For the MJ - I still want to get the sliders/bumpers/ebrake/rear fender/rear bumpstops/control arm skids/ CB wired / some other odds and ends all buttoned up before I take it.
XJ wont have a chance to be ready for this.

I might be able to get it all done by the 20th - but wanted to see who would be up for the following weekend if not.

Me neither. We will probably camp next to some sort of high lake.

By the way im not sure if you caught it but I asking if we can push it back a week if I dont have the rig ready yet? To the next weekend? Only if needed otherwise we can hold that weekend

I have to work the weekend of the 28th and don't think I can swing the vacation time. I already took Memorial Day Weekend off for Reno Fest.
