Look here, I put a spare tire on the top of my ZJ when I used to have it. It was not to impress some High School child.

I needed the room in the back, as I travelled (at the time) across this country to go wheeling. It served the purpose (If I got a flat, I had a spare) of letting me have room in the back to sleep and pack the needed materials.

Just because a spare is on the top does not mean a person is trying to be cool..... they just may need the room.

I bet there was a time when you first got interested in fourwheeling when if someone would have asked you what a locker was you would have looked at him with that doe in headlights look....We all have. I guess I am more forgiving to the guy who has 31s or whatever on his rig and doesn't know what he is talking about...We all have to learn sometime. Remember we all started from nothing at one point in our lives.

I am not saying i know everything and always have, and there was a time when i didnt know shit. But this kid talks about wheelin all the time and says he has run fordyce and the rubicon.

uhhh 31's got my friend thru the fordyce... Un-locked... with the D30,35 combo.... i dont think tires make the driver...

thats the same thing im running, 31s 30/35 and stock 3.07 gearing. In no way am i saying that i am the ultimate driver or saything that my setup is the best but it is capable. And i wasnt saying tire SIZE makes the driver, i think tires are directly related to what you can and cant do but when it comes down to it, its all about experience, which at 16 isnt something i have an extrodinary deal of. sorry if you thought i was talkin shit about 31s....if that is what you even meant?


and if your talking about the kid i know saying 31s are the super cool offroader, i dont mean to be negative but a bigger tire can make things a little easier, once again...experience
