unibody tie ins

for those of you that have a custum tube rear bumpers how did you tie it into the unibody so that it was strong enough for tow points??

Tie it right into where the hitch would be.

thats what I plan on doing but what Im asking is how did you all tie it into the bumper with out it looking tacky

Its a rear tube bumper, its tacky to begin with.

Tube bumpers do not look good on XJ's, particularly on the rear.

The trick to making a bumper strong enough to tow or pull from is those tie in points at the frame where the hitch is mounted, and the factory bumper mounting points.

The thick tube bumpers look pretty good, infact I have some real nice ones being made as of late. However, the rounded tube bumpers that try and do this "Wrangler" looking thing don't quite make it in my estimation.
