That should work good "Tjdualsport", that is how mine is and have not had a problem with it bending.
Here is a picture with the hood on. This weekend i'll be cutting the hood louvers and priming it.
InlandZJ, yea im still running the IRO long arms upfront i've had no problems with them at all. If i would go back i would get the adjustable arms though for a little better axle correction.
The lights are actually SanMak lights, they are nice and bright!
Sjstar- I actually had a cooling issue, but it wasnt related to the lights. I had 2 cracked heads. The temps were a little higher with the lights up front so i decided to change it up a bit.
A pic from glamis, thanksgiving weekend. (Put some double standard methods on)
Took off the front light bars and put on a 30" side mounted LED bar and a 10" single row amber light. (It sucks driving behind someone and cant see a damn thing)
Removed the Abs to make more room for the coilovers up front.
Ordered some JJ to make the front IRO long arms adjustable to push the axle 1"-1.5" forward.
Decided to put the hatch back on (idea stolen from Loose Nuts), a few more little details and its pretty much done.
Ordered up some 14" triple rate coilovers for the front and got rid of the triple bypasses. And the last picture is how it is now getting ready to move the battery to the rear then we will be ready to cut up the fender wells and start the engine cage.
Almost ready to start the engine cage... The 0 gauge wire should be here Saturday and i just got my battery box from Ballistic offroad.
Next thing is to remove the dash and windshield to gain better access to inside cage.
Relocated the battery to the rear and ran the 0 gauge cable to the starter, everything turns on and idles fine. Today I took off the dash and tomorrow hopefully the windshield for more space to work on the engine cage.
Looks awesome, I was out at Gordon's Well a couple weekends ago I want to see how this thing soaks up the bumps on the sand drags...You making any plans yet for when you will go back to the dunes?
