Toter home build

I finally have all the peices figured out to finish off the kitchen completely now, I will be heading over to lowes in the morning to get them and then I can finally button it it up once and for all. I have my vents for the furnace and just need a couple peices of tube to finish the drain from the sink to the waste water tank. I am also gonna get the end peices for the backsplash and what I need to mount the counter down. I am also gonna get some of the stuff I need to start working on getting the rear bunk done. This cold weather slowed me down along with waiting for funds to become available. I should be able to make some progress tomorrow finally

sitting around waiting for Lowes to open, 1 more hour and then I can get what I need to get going today, hoping to make some decent progress today

got my counter all mounted, sink installed and stove installed along with the sides of the backsplassh installed, all my water and waste plumbing done, one small snag, the copper propane line for the stove was kinked and leaked, I will pick up what I need for it tomorrow and then my kitchen will completely done finaly. Never got to working on the rear bunk today, had to get a couple honey do's done instead

Also forgot, got my heater vents installed and hooked up also, just gotta order a thermostate for the furnace and it will be done also

Very impressive Richard

paper towel holder is the single biggest feature.

You've done well for a 25 year old box truck. It's way nicer than my unfinished/rotten pile.

Prediction:

Once the papertowels are started they will be all rolled off and on the counter when you reach your destination.

I have a stand up towel holder in the kitchen of my trailer now. But I still have a roll in the garage that unrolls every trip...

The bungee idea is great! I will use it, thanks!

I used masking tape to keep the roll from unrolling.

I already had it out to tape my windows shut so they didn't fall out....

this is the same holder I had in my slide in, it is spring loaded and holds the roll so it does not unroll. way ahead of you all

Picked up what I need to fix the propane line for the stove today, worked all day and its raining now so I may just take a nap instead and wait till Wensday to work on it since I will have that day off and knock out some more stuff also

I don't go in till 4:00 today so I am gonna finish off the stove this morning and start getting things ready to do the rooftop AC also. Gotta make a run to get some amo for this coming Wensday, gonna go hunt some Bambi with a buddy. Sunday I hope to get the AC all done if I can get someone over to help me get the monster up on the roof LOL

Looks great!

The paper towel comment cracked me up. I guess a toterhome doesn't ride as smooth as a trailer. My dads race trailer has a work area up front and you can leave all kinds of stuff there and it never moves off the bench. Cups of coffee, tools, etc and it is like time stops in the trailer going down the road as nothing ever moves.

I finally have 2 days off in a row, gotta run a couple errands this morning but the plan is to get the rooftop ac done and a few little other things to finish off. I want everything I have worked on so far completely buttoned up and then I will work on the rear bunk area.

I left a cup of water on the counter, it didn't budge in 600 miles, but the paper towels always unroll.

the international chassis is air ride in the back. Big pimpin'

well, no turning back now. Got the hole in my ceiling cut, got the holes in my roof cut, and I have my AC unit on the roof. Just gotta make a patern real quick so I can mark and drill my mounting holes. Then I can put the seal strip putty on and bolt it down for good. I have to extend the duct for it to the control panel on the inside but that is easy enough to do and then I can mount that also and hook up the wiring and put the cover panel on it.
