I managed to get most of the main living quarters area roof insulated yesterday afternoon, just have a little more to go and then I will get my wiring in place for the ceiling area. Once that is done I am gonna try to get the ceiling paneling done before I go to work this afternoon, hopefully I will have enough time to get that much done today

Insulation is done in the main living quarters roof, wiring is roughed into place, gonna go get a couple tubes of liquid nail and then get the ceiling up.

the first 3 you can see where I glued 1" styrofoam in between the original roof supports to insulate it. Whole lot of fun trying to hold up paneling over head and securing it

I did my pop's 2.5 car garage with the really nice (read thick and heavy) paneling-- try doing it all on a ladder with two people (4'X8' sheets). A nail gun woulda come in handy that day!!!

Decided I want to get the roof top AC installed so I am picking up 5 gallons of Kool Seal for the roof today, I want to get it all coated before I start sealing stuff on the roof. It is a rubberized sealer that also reflects the heat to keep things cooler inside and gives me a great surface to get things on the roof to seal better

well, it is supposed to rain all week so I think I wil try washing and scrubbing the roof on it today and see what I need to do to prep it for the kool seal, also picked up a gallon of resin and some fiberglass cloth. The cover for the AC unit is really brittle and parts of it are broken so I am gonna use it as a mold and make a new fiberglass one for it instead, I looked around for a new replacement and they start at 150.00 and up, I can make a better one for less than 60.00

Got the roof all pressure washed and is now ready for Kool Seal, I was really suprised at how good a shape it was in, pressure washing got it perfectly clean and it is really straight except for the front edge of the roof but still is not a problem, I blasted every seam up there with the pressure washer trying to find a leak and still did not leak. Once I am sure the weather will hold out long enough, I am gonna get the roof all coated in a couple coats of Kool Seal, once that is good and dried I will mount the Rooftop AC finally

AC is 110 and 12 volt, as for the fridge, I am in no hurry, I have the Ice box for now and it has always worked fine for 3 day trips, I designed the cabinet so that I can go to a larger unit when I find a good deal on the right one. I will have everything in place so that when I do get one, it will just be a matter of making the hook ups and mounting it in. Most of the places I go have full hookups and I have a generator for the ones that don't
Cool beans, I been watching this build from the git go. I can't wait to see more pic's. I think your during everything right & the way YOU want it.

Just came in from starting to rebuild the roof top Cover for the AC unit, they make them out of plastic and the sun makes them real brittle, I am taping poster board to it, and covering that with duct tape and then fiberglassing over that, if it goes right I should be able to break and peel the old one out from the inside and have a new fiberglass one that will last, hopefully it works otherwise I gotta spend around $150.00 for a new one that will eventually become brittle also

I had to do this on one for mine, used the silver foil duct tape to hold it all together, worked way better than the normal gray duct tape.

Looks like I am just gonna buy a new one, every time I touch this one it just crumbles some more, it is just too much hassle to try and keep it together long enough to use as a mold

no progress this past couple days, been working day shift and it is too dang hot when I get home, gonna try and get the roof coated with Kool Seal tomorrow before I have to go to work so I can get done with the roof top AC and then the heat will no longer be a problem
Looking foward for pics, love this build
