TNT Long Arm installation

Sweet pics, how did you manage without a 90 degree drill?

I drilled all the holes from the outside and was able to get straight on (or mostly straight on if I remember correctly). You have to install the belly pan (without the arms, because you'll be removing it again) and set the inner braces in place to mark the holes on the inside of the unibody rail. Then I drew a centerline around the rail to the outside to mark the horizontal center of the hole. Then I measured from the bottom of the unibody rail to the vertical center of the mark on the inner rail and copied that same measurement on the outside. Where those two lines intersect should be the center of the hole marked on the inner rail. I drilled the big hole with the unibit, then the smaller 1/2 hole through the inner rail from the outside. In order to get the 1/2" hole centered in the large hole in the outer rail, I just inserted one of the sleeves and trued it up in the hole. Then while holding the sleeve in place, I ran a pencil down the hole in the center of the sleeve and presto, the center was marked perfectly. It all makes sense once you have the kit in front of you. But like I said, tripple check all measurements before drilling.

Thanks thats perfect

Found that using a c-clamp works really well for the line that goes from the outside of the rail to the inside.

That's a good idea. I bent a piece of 3/4" wide strap into a "u" shape and traced the line around the rail.
