The Official CraigsList Thread...

I want it. I wish I could convince myself and my wife (and my bank account) that I can spend $1500 on the axle, plus $300 regearing my rear to match, plus whatever for new wheels...:D

Wait, Grimm, you were searching Craigslist for more vises? You don't have enough? Except you spelled it wrong.

Just got back from looking at this for my nephew. The owners just picked it up from auction today / yesterday. Lien sale paperwork; good through 06/12.

Manual windows / locks, Chrysler 8.25. Fluids were topped off by auctioneers. Cooling system had good flow, but could use flushed. Manual fan on a toggle. AC / heat do not blow; AC compressor does kick on. Transmission and transfer case shifted very smoothly. Noisy lifters and oil pressure gauge is forever pegged. Stereo in dash - no face. Interior was decent - not good, not bad, just decent. Driver's seat belt needs the latch replaced (works on a rubber band system for appearance). Exterior is as you see in pics - straight and paint in good condition; but back hatch is completely missing the lock assembly.

Sellers wouldn't move from $1700 (but it is their 1st day attempting to sell it)..

Most definitely has potential with the right owner; just wasn't quite what we were looking for for my nephew's 1st ride; but the more I think and type...

(and no, I am not affiliated with this Jeep..)
