but the durango box and stock, whining steering pump i wheeled on all weekend was terrible but significantly better than it is now lol.

I just need this thing to steer adequately with 28 psi in the tires while moving on the pavement for now. I tapped the box for assist so I can improve upon it down the road.

Bound for Pensacola Florida tomorrow, then Orlando on Fri, got a weird email from my manager today that makes me scared to go back to work. Something about everyone being secret agents and other whacky shit.

Sam that sounds a lot like a junk pump to me. Have you tried filling the reservoir all the way to the top out of frustration yet? When I did the pump on the XJ in February, it would fail to produce any pressure randomly even properly filled. Never fails if I fill it damn near overflowing though. I think it is a shitty rebuild but haven't felt like messing with it.

So I finally found someone at work who wheels. Turns out he's friend s with Eric miller. He said he gets a lot of hand me down parts. He's got too expensive taste for me though. Not a trash guy

so i pointed out that wheeling the disco was gigantic compared to a XJ and just got schooled.

wheelbase:
XJ: 101
Disco1: 100

width:
XJ: 68
Disco1: 71

length:
XJ: 167
Disco1: 178

they are a lot closer than i thought. its actually almost identical to a ZJ.
