My clutch pedal started to fade on the way home from work yesterday so I took a look under the truck: no leak. So i try to bleed the clutch this morning and all i get is a steady drip regardless of what the clutch pedal is doing. So I go to Auto Zone to get a new master cylinder (Betsy finds it hilarious that there's a master and slave cylinder). I go to put it in just to find that it was made wrong. It doesn't bolt to the firewall; it locks in (it's got a square hole in the firewall where the master enters. The master then rotates 45 degrees and locks in). Well they made it so when you lock it in the reservoir is at a 45 degree angle. Now I have to wait 'til tomorrow at 10 to get a different one. It couldn't have happened on a worse day (weather wise) this year. I'm psyched.
You may not have read the whole post I was replying to but breathing the nasty shit formed when you arc weld on chlorinated chemicals (phosgene, chloramine, chlorine gas, elemental chlorine, ****yourshituporine, etc) is very very different from breathing some dicholoromethane or whatever. One kills you slowly, the other kills you all quick-like and very unpleasantly.

Processing deer is time consuming. Got some cooking to do this weekend. Going to grind a bunch of the meat and make stock for slow cooking out of the spine and ribs. The meat between the ribs was about 1/16" thick which is really too bad. I was hoping to smoke them like pork or beef. I think next time it will go a lot faster. Knowing what is where will help a lot.
I'm going to try to get another doe on Saturday. Fingers r crossed.
I didn't get home till midnight last night after processing all the meat with Mike. My alarm went off at 5am and I felt absolutely useless, so I called out because coming in an hour late means brutal Providence traffic. Got some shite to take care of around the house then I might head out again.
You know you're 'old' when sleeping till 730 is 2.5 hours more than you're used to.
