It's the hydraulic hose (which is only serviced with the slave cylinder). I"m going to do the clutch while I have the transmission out. I cannot explain how elated I am to have to drop this big dumb transmission...

Nice! I'll post up when I get everything figured out and try and meet up with some of you fools. I've met 4 of you NAC guys..... so far all have been hilarious. May will be busy for me since i'm flying back out to Utah to do some more exploring.

Seriously that is really dumb, internal slaves belong in the 1980s, even jeep kept them about 10 years too long

Yup. Internal Slave.

It wasn't really a part that failed, someone replaced the rear brake line before I bought the truck and forgot to clip the clutch line back to the frame.
