5.9 should be on the road by the weekend. I have plates and insurance for it, just need the front shocks in, drill trackbar bushing/bolt hole out to 7/16" in the front, check the caster and alignment, and figure out a rear driveshaft. I AM EXCITE!
burnouts?
One wheel peel until I get the right rear end in it.
going back to a 44A? and will you be at pat's on saturday?
I'm also grabbing your outboard tomorrow Billy. Yes, it's as dirty as it sounds.
For an XJ or ZJ? I'm assuming ZJ, since XJ bumper covers are left/right.
I'll keep my eye out.

are you going to leave it at pat's? and how should I get you the money?
Flew a Northrop Grumman AA-5A our test pilot and one of our board members own yesterday. $20 for a half hour including instruction? Hell yes I will. Did a few 2G turns, flew over most of northeastern mass and brought it back to about 30 seconds before landing.
I might as well just pick up a hard drug habit and a few boats to round out the expensive hobby list. And maybe get divorced. That was way too much fun.
(Just when you thought that me driving on public roads was bad enough, someone puts me in an airplane...)
I would never be able to take on flying as a hobby.
After just taking what was essentially the basic pilots grounds school, it would be way too expensive. Staying on top of IFR certifications, mapping out flight plans, and calculating runway lengths/fuel consumption I'm all set. And that's not even a 1/4 of it.
Not something you can just dabble in easily once or twice a year.
