THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

All I have to say is, at this point, I would refuse to skimp on underrated/low quality parts.

Nothing like almost taking out your foot and ruining your transmission/engine over a $50 part.

For reference, I looked up what my clutch/pressure plate cost after seeing what happened to you Sam, and this is what I have:

My flywheel though, is an old original 440 piece just resurfaced/cut. But it's obviously a nice steel piece.

Gotta pay to play...

Passenger side is a new brown dog one. Driver side is a previously raced vetteboy79 special

"low miles barely broken in"

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

after all my research I thought I needed a truck specific flywheel. nope. and I went with the flywheel a bunch of retards on the internet used with success. so much for that.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Sam I've still got this 4500 etc hanging out in my car. Jus sayin.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

early nv4500's use the same bellhousing as sm465's. ideal scenario would be get a sweet bellhousing for my current sm465 and swap that in and find a 93-94 chevy nv4500 at my leisure.

but the chances for that are oh so slim.

The 4500 has a jeep style 23 SPL output. Idk if that helps you or not...

Hey Adam, I have to drive from Boston to West Sayville on LI this Friday morning. Which would you recommend, driving down 95, or taking the cross sound ferry? Google maps puts it about 25 minutes shorter, but 50 miles more by taking 95. Not sure how traffic would be around 8-9am?
