Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Hump holes are the same shape either way, at least on my 91 and the 97, 98, and 99 5 speeds I've seen, it's just a different adapter plate that gets sheetmetal screwed down over the hole.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i'm like a craigslist ninja. Almost all the parts on my jeep came from CL except the ones i made or that came from the junkyard.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Thinking about repainting the jeep the same blue I used for the diff cover and shocks on the truck. Thoughts?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think that it would be sweet but I am a sucker for blue.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

words can not describe the amount of hack and sketchyness going on with some peoples rigs that drive on the street.

Just had the privledge to see one, It makes kens MJ look like an engineering masterpiece. Wish i could have taken pictures, but was kinda awkward with him standing right there.

That is sketchy as shit. I honestly don't want to know what I share the road with sometimes. Especially involving mud trucks.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My truck isn't badly engineered, just badly beaten and needing a number of repairs. Which is why it has been driven about 3 times in the last 4 months or so :(

There is a suburban with a six inch block lift on the rearend and stock tires parked down the street from me, I was gonna look at how they made the front lift but realized I just don't want to know. It is on stock tires and looks really retarded.

kid at neit had a k10 spring over axle on 4" blocks in front. when he braked it looked like his truck wanted to eat his front axle from all the wrap. I bet if he hit a bump while braking just right that would happen.

makes me wonder how he made it as far as college.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Sweet man they are tits! What did you get? Street double disk?

Yup, has brand new disks with it. Also got a brand new billet input shaft too. The shaft alone costs around 600-650 and I got everything for 800. Clutch is rated somewhere around 600HP so itll handle any more power upgrades I do.

Beats my auto **** dodge autos. 5k into it and its only rated for 500hp. But given I'm dd it I doubt I will have the money to crank it up any more than the present 350 hp. Your tow rig is pretty mint I'm jelly. I need to get a trailer and finish up some more small shit on the xj.
Next weeks mabell after that I'm doing stiffeners hopefully before roctoberfest!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

**** autos, too much of a money pit. When I do the clutch, Im gunna freshen up with the tranny with a HD output housing and fresh fluid. It doesn't really seem to need a rebuild at all so I'm gunna leave that alone for now.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I found more rot/insect damage and more grevious structural design sins in my house when I tore up more shit... one of these days I will stop finding problems.

The **** were these chuckleheads thinking?!

Yeah that 1x6 will totally do a great job of supporting 2x8s that span 15 feet, sure. Why didn't you just put the studs in the two opposing walls on the same centers?! And maybe use joists tall enough for the span?!

Retards....

True story.

Your house sucks, we get it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

There's nothing I hate more than pressure washing 100 lbs worth of clay mud off of my Jeep.

And then having to clean up from a rainy weekend of camping.

My jeep still isn't totally clean. And my truck needs a serious bath.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Actually drove the 5.9 Saturday until a front caliper locked up. Replaced all of the front brakes yesterday and swapped the battery, and was able to drive the thing more than a couple miles.
