I tried that but ended up just leaving it in one position. Sounds good.

It's a $10 way to try and put off buying a Telecaster for a little while longer.

The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan TB-4 Trembucker which reportedly splits pretty well; just trying to get a closer approximation to that in-between Stratty kinda sound.

I use esurance. It's supposed to be through all state. I pay 500/year for just liability. Haven't had to do any claims through them yet. Otherwise I had NJ manufacturers which was fairly expensive but good customer service with claims.

I don't like metal studs either, but they sure do make commercial construction, demolition, and recycling easier.

Took the snow tires off last week. With them I could get out my driveway with 10" of snow no problem. Today to get out of 3" I had to rock it a couple times and scissor the wheel to get out. Roads were OK. There was an accident. They were probably idiots.

Mine wasn't as slow as I thought it was going to be, but I was nearly involved in a pretty decent accident on 24S around Bridgewater.

I was in the left lane a few hundred feet behind an Impreza. Impreza must've hit some slush with the driver's side tires which yanked it left into the Jersey barrier. Driver then overcorrected and pulled the car to the right across 3 lanes into another vehicle in the right lane. Both of them went into the guardrail and bounced off back into the breakdown lane and right lane. I braked as hard as I could without losing it and went as wide to the left as I could have in case they bounced back hard. Luckily there was a cop not a half mile north of this for another one car accident. I probably should've stopped, but I was well past the scene of the accident once I got to a point where I could've pulled over safely and didn't want to make it worse by adding one more hazard on the right side of the road.

Anyone have experience with Rusty's transfer case skids? Looking at the 231 skid for my ZJ. Pat has one and it has held up well, any other experiences?

I think the long term plan will be to build my own crossmember and skid, but this gets me out wheeling sooner.
