Started to box in my leaf mounts on the passenger side then got to cold.

3/16 plate because the state loves to salt are roads I have a rust spot in the floor over so Im boxing it in and fixing that. :D

If the shafts are a different length it doesn't matter. When my stepdads stocker blew a 242 I swapped in a 231 I rebuilt and changed nothing but the transfer case. 96 fwiw

Coolness. I dunno how tough a 242 is and if I do a swap id rather go to a 231.

242s are stronger than 231s as long as you're rating strength in part time or low. The full time unit is what makes it "weaker" and it sucks as far as SYEs go. My stepdads blew bc it was the only thing I didn't check the oil level on when he bought it and sure enough it was empty when I pulled it

Is their any thing wrong with square tubing for control arms?

Its cheaper that's why im wondering
