A good friend of mine has a line on a ar-15 chambered in 45 acp that takes grease gun mags. final cost will be $1250ish. standard AR gas style, uses direct impingement not blowback. let me know if you're interested.

I was looking at those, sounds like a fun gun, but more than i can swing right now. Funds are a bit tight right now with my daytona trip coming up

Edit: wtf, i keep finding more 80% parts i want.
Of course finding a sten parts kit will probably cost me more than the m1919 parts kit.

There's a clean '00 Powerstroke in ME, 2wd, 5spd 110k, for 10 grand. I really want to go look at it this weekend, but I need to finish my Jeep...
the only two times i used it while towing was to get to the trailer parking spot for swanzey and while doing surface roads in the snow. and also when i put the trailer in my parents back yard so that way i dont dig up the front yard if i get bogged down in the front

but also as my dd it is nice to have in the snow

that truck is a POS. I looked at it way back when, just before he blew the tranny. its wicked laggy with the 66, looks like hed twinned it but itll still be just as bad. it was no useful spool for towing and is basically a hot rod truck.

Oil?

My situation is that I may have to retain oil heat for a while longer in order to take advantage of the tank removal insurance. It would be pretty sweet if I could upgrade everything in the house and then plan on switching to gas at a later point without having to redo much. Are you saying they have units that can run on either?
You know, I'm not sure if the *same* unit can run on different burn sources. I'm meeting with my plumber tomorrow, so if I remember I'll ask him for ya.

I love getting up at 5am and getting to the airport only to find out the flight is canceled!! looks like we may have an extra day of vacation.....

My dad had a '00 f350 SD, 4wd, 4dr, dually, 8ft bed.... IT WAS A BEAST! We loved that truck!

I used to have to drive a 7.3, it was poopy. Now I have to drive a 6.4, it is also poopy but has a better auto***got. Dont get me started on the 7.3 in the DT444 we have as well, total dog.

ive really been toying with the idea of getting a 7.3 excurtion, and slapping a ZF6 in, it would be pretty ****ing awsome

Some of them came with a ZF6 factory. Actually, I believe the last year possible to get a manual in an excursion came with a super beefy eaton fuller 6spd that is highly desirable beacuse its super strong just like the eaton's found in medium duty diesels and is the only version out there that is setup for a mated t-case.

I'm thinking about downgrading my laptop to windows 7. I would have done it right off the bat but they don't actually have windows 7 drivers for my laptop. I believe the only thing that may be a problem is for the wifi having not really found much online of people doing it. Otherwise all the components I believe have a windows 7 or compatible driver somewhere.

Anyway, I'm thinking I'll make an image of my drive now and partition in up and put the image on that backup partition and install windows 7. That way if it doesn't turn out I can fall back on the image. I can't ****ing stand windows 8 anymore. I think partition magic did that kind of stuff, anyone done something similar recently?

6.4 needs a dpf delete and a chip, you will cry when you have to drive your truck home.
If its in a 450/550, its detuned anyways.
DT444 is a 7.3, but with less power, in a bigger truck.

I'm assuming you've been logging onto naxja with a telegraph, but the rest of us have been using what's called a computer. I'm specifically using a laptop, a small, more mobile computer. I am having issues with the software on this device and am looking for advice as to the remedy. There are computer enthusiasts who frequent this very thread that I am directing these questions towards.

Its my boss' 08 f250 that I drive alot. It used to really suck when it was new, it would constantly go thru regen modes and puke white smoke everywhere. Of course it would always do it while towing and sucks balls. Its better now but I'm still far from impressed, its gets horrible mileage even when its empty.

the Dt444 doesnt even get above 55mph. its got that crappy 4spd allison auto behind it and is not highway geared, it takes me soo long to get to places when I have to drive it. I jsut sit on the highway with my foot to the floor and let it spin 2700rpm.
