Which S-curve? I'm pretty sure Kyle shit his pants riding shotgun with me to one of those providence meetups, we were doing at least 80 most of the way on 146.
That was a few weekends before I discovered my white XJ had terminal cancer instead of just a few rust holes, in fact I remember joking that the carpet was the only thing holding the pile of nuts and bolts in the trunk insidethat thing was such a piece of shit.
I went skydriving every day on my way to and from work for most of a year in one of those zones... no tickets. 80 in a 25 twice a day :eyes:Shit his pants going 80? I got this sweet ticket once, for going 90 in a 25:sad1:.
:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:I'm just posting this stuff before Bob logs in and makes all of us feel responsible.
I have generally matured and become a better asshole
I have generally matured on the road. I think I just learned where I can drive like an asshole and get away with it, and where I can't.
Also, I lied a bit. I only drive like an inflamed asshole when I know I'm within easy range of a class 6 road I can disappear down if I blow by a cop at the speed of light.
(so basically what Sam said)
best offroad game of follow the leader ever.I look forward to the Ken Stein episode of Cops
speaking of 7.3s and rust, if you do go look at it be sure to look at the oil pan.
I used to have to drive a 7.3, it was poopy. Now I have to drive a 6.4, it is also poopy but has a better auto***got. Dont get me started on the 7.3 in the DT444 we have as well, total dog.
I've had my 02' F350 w the 7.3 for the last 3 years and I love the truck. The only problem I've had other then wear items is the rust/rot in typical spots(cab corners and wheel well). I'm actually thinking of putting it up for sale in the next week to snag an Excursion w a 7.3.
everytime I hop in an xj I feel invincible. I havent driven too many cars to thier limits, but XJ's just seem to fit me so well.
I want another one.
Wanna buy my '99 for $1000? Freal.
is it gay?
I'm not dead set on a Ford, I've been seriously considering a Dodge like Colin's lately. They're stupid reliable, about the same price, and get about the same mileage. Plus there's that Cummins specific dealer in NY DB Dave told me about, they've got a lot of CLEAN southern trucks. This pains me to say, as I've always been a blue oval guy.
