I've had hogs and choppers do that when they were going by me (in the opposite direction) as if to prove that his was cooler. I should start giving those guys the bird.and XXXX the guys with harleys running straight pipes who think its a splendid idea to tach thier bikes out through neighborhoods at 6:30 am.
and "bikers" wonder why much of society frowns upon them.
Not a battle I want to fight alone.Anthony VS. the HA
The van in your plans (that I now do not see...) looked like this sort of van:I'm very confused about that statement. :looney:
To more clearly answer your question, here is what I was trying to describe. It was my fault that I got the bike that far over. I should have gotten off the seat a little more. When the footpeg touched it unloaded the front tire just a little.WTF were you doing to accomplish all of that?

on/off ramps :kissyou:wtf? I have never ever been that close to the ground. I dont think i would feel comfortable. Maybe if i was racing i would do that but i dont see the need to on these shitty road in the great state of MA.
Got my Warn VR8000 installed last night and swapped on the wire rope for my synth line...this thing is a SHIT TON FASTER than the Smittybilt. Just gotta clean up the power leads and it'll be a nice upgrade to the rig.
Ahh! I get it now. :laugh:Bill, so as to not clog your property thread...

Nice! I wonder that the big difference is between it and the M8000. I'd guess the motor given that the specs on Warn's site says it is slower and draws less current but had the same gear ratio.Got my Warn VR8000 installed last night and swapped on the wire rope for my synth line...this thing is a SHIT TON FASTER than the Smittybilt. The Smittybilt will enjoy a nice easy retirement on my trailer.
Deadline just got moved up!As of right now I'm going down to DC the week before NACfest.

Don't worry, I'll get to your house nice and early so we can put my Jeep on your trailer for the ride down.As of right now I'm going down to DC the week before NACfest.

Ya, I got the physics of that, I was just wondering where you were/what turn you were going around that you were going 60mph around a turn like that. I'm surprised the bike didn't just lose it in the turn once the front wheel came off, but then again it was probably only off for a fraction of a second, right? To more clearly answer your question, here is what I was trying to describe. I know you rag on Harley's and stuff, and say how a ton of people don't like them because of their personalities and the stuff they do, but I'm sorry I just find that stupid and dangerous. I've seen people with sport bikes do a lot more stupid and dangerous things than I have ever seen someone on a Harley do.on/off ramps :kissyou:
On ramps are usually increasing radius so that you can get up to speed safely and off ramps are usually decreasing radius so that you have time to slow down before the turn. Off ramps tend to be a little more fun for me because they're tighter.
