THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I scraped footpeg on my motorcycle today. I never expected to scrape that on a sportbike. It was a tad scary having the front wheel lift off the ground while leaned over that far and going 60mph

WTF were you doing to accomplish all of that?

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yes mother.

I wouldn't say that I almost crashed, but it sure wasnt what I planned when I went into the turn

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Finished the exhaust completely tonight. Bolted in and done.

Also slapped the new front yoke on and measured for limit straps with the driveshaft bolted in. With ~1* of caster I can pull 9.5" of total travel comfortably. The coil is unseated 1" at that point too.
LET GO WHEELIN B!TCH!

Take a turn hard enough without getting off the seat sideways enough and that will happen. Getting off the seat keeps the bike more upright and maintains a better contact patch. I just didn't expect the bike to have to lean that much at that speed in that turn

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The screen on my phone is peppered with black dots. Must have left it a little to near to the grinder at some point.

Tomorrow afternoon is going to be full of awesome events. Nothin like last minute GSD operations to kick off a weekend of wheeling :woohoo:

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

anyone know a reputable shop to narrow my rear axle? I just don't think this is something I should do myself.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

and XXXX the guys with harleys running straight pipes who think its a splendid idea to tach thier bikes out through neighborhoods at 6:30 am.

and "bikers" wonder why much of society frowns upon them.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So last year on the way to the inspection station I had that weird turn signal feedback issue where a light didn't work and my dash slight stayed on... It just came back last night... the day before I was going to get inspected this year  At least I think I know what it is this time around and it should be quick.

Otherwise I just gotta use the weekend to get the Jeep up to par to pass inspection (ebrake, horn, signals, some other shit) and then tear into the bike to find out why it was dying on me. Only thing I can really think to check is spark plug gap though :dunno:
