I wouldn't buy a car that can't pass inspection, nor would I ever use a dealer that would sell a car that way.

Try a different bank, many will finance something more than 6 years old.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I got a job offer early this week Im going to check out Saturday. A friend of my dad's runs a company that cleans pipes and storm basens ans stuff. He knows I got my CDL and some operator's lincenses going thru and needs someone with that stuff. He started throwing big numbers at me; start $30/hr with moves up to $50/hr, $70k/yr, full benefit's, retirement stuff, etc :dunno: Winters off or I could work in his new truck lube shop and make more money. I like doing the crane & rigging work now, but how can one refuse more money? Plus, I wanna be on the books and stuff so I can take a loan out and buy a nice truck this summer.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

1 more hour til my 4-day weekend starts. I'm camping saturday sunday and monday nights and I am currently inbetween tents... Looking for a 4-person so the lady and I can fit comfortably, (I'm 6'3 210lbs). 32$ walmart special, or is there better tents offered at dicks/gander mtn. I have never been to either. Thanks for the input

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Theres a couple i was lookin at, in the 85 buck range, my last one lasted about 6 seasons, twelve trips, and only neeeded to spray it down with sealer towards the end!

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Go cheap and just camp dry/seam seal the crap out of it. Especially if its going to be primarily used as a summer tent.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I was hoping to stick to the 50 dollar and less category but i do plan on camping alot once the jeep is done. I'll have to take a trip to the city to check out Dicks/Gander. -No Pun Intended Haha

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My last tent was a cheapo Coleman. I've used the snot out of it and it hasnt failed me yet.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i like the $30 wally world tents, last one lasted 5 years, only reson i got a new one is that i had a couple quarts of oil spill on it when moving

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Well thank all of you for the input. I will invest in some seam sealer and use the heck out of it on a wal-mart or cheap coleman tent. Have a good weekend and a happy holiday everyone! I will be back stalking this thread on Tuesday afternoon. Haha.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Finished the exhaust completely tonight. Bolted in and done.

Also slapped the new front yoke on and measured for limit straps with the driveshaft bolted in. With ~1* of caster I can pull 9.5" of total travel comfortably. The coil is unseated 1" at that point too.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I scraped footpeg on my motorcycle today. I never expected to scrape that on a sportbike. It was a tad scary having the front wheel lift off the ground while leaned over that far and going 60mph
