THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I can't say anything about OBD I XJ ecu's, but I've had to 'reteach' mine after it sat for a few months totally dead.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My 96 seemed to run OK but maybe I'm just used to it running like shit.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Actually Summit has it for $130, that's $40 cheaper than the other website listing. That makes it a little more appealing.

Here's the actual wording:

All vehicles must have a rear facing AMBER light that is illuminated when the ignition switch, main power or the fuel pump is turned on. It may not be on a separate toggle by itself. This serves several purposes, allowing visibility in the dust to racers behind you as well as letting others know if you under power or not.

All vehicles must have a remote battery kill switch mounted inside the cab in an easily accessible spot, preferably on the dash. This switch must control all power coming from the battery and shall kill the engine and fuel supply power when turned off. Winch's and low voltage supply to the engine computer may be routed around this switch due to amperage draw and memory retention. A switch on the dash may be used to remotely control a solenoid wired into the main power supply such as this.

So I gotta do something for the amber light as well.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I jumped mine then had to hold my foot on the gas for 10-15 mins till it figured out how to idle.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

they are making you install an amberlamps?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I saw that double post. I tried to quote both but you deleted one by the time I did.

That's easy though...I already have the taillight holes cut:

And I lost one of 'em a while ago. I'll just get an amber one for one side and then have the running/brake light on the other.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

IIRC, they're super similar, if they're different at all... It might be just a different bellhousing. I can't remember for sure.
That might be cool. did you rebuild yours or no? I'm looking at a 97 TJ tomorrow with a bad tranny.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Wow, 14B center sections are way off to the driver's side.

Depends what you consider rebuild. Did I take 2 apart and put one good one back together? Yes. Did I buy any new parts (other than seals)? No.

Did you see Chris's post? T-case clocking is different.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Pinion isn't...so it's not a big deal.

My D60 is offset.
Weird.

It don't matter to me... My D70 parts should be here any day now.
