Nah, I wasn't against him at all.
I was simply trying to get across that you need to consider the separation and angle of the UCA to LCAs as well. I guess I should have worded that differently.

Now, after all that, I don't think 4.10's would be a good choice if I ever plan on any high-speed stuff. The 4.0 just wouldn't have the power to do it. If I use 4.10's, I'll pretty much have to be in low/low for crawling and any time I want to go 'fast' I'd have to put one of the cases in high range and keep the other in low. I don't think I'd have any power with the 4.10's in high range.

There isn't much high-speed stuff around us dude. If it was me, I'd worry about everything else first, then figure out what to do with gears and their cost. Gears in axles are cool, but axles underneath the XJ is cooler. Get that far then see what your budget is.

If I do a 3.15 conversion to my D20, I'll have a better crawl ratio than your doubler with 4.10s.



I might build up a better D20 on the side and just swap it in later if the gearing becomes an issue.

Do it up. If I get 5.13's I go back to winning :conceited

i went to thier troubleshooting thing and it said "if you have tried the above send us an e-mail.

and the e-mail said the EXACT SAME THING WORD FOR WORD as the troubleshooting guide

I went down to the corner to get gas for the tractor. The dude next to me had a 90's OBS F350, lifted, 35" tires, plow, etc etc. Some queer in an riced out import is trying to turn onto Rt1 and his fart can is making noise and going nowhere. We both started laughing at him and left him.

agreed, I'm tired of 1 wheeling it. There is probably a ridiculous amount of play in the spiders in this d35, wouldn't be surprised if it explodes on me at any moment.
