THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Im in for anything just let me know when and where?
probably sometime later tonight, not sure when, central mass or ct/ri depending on where we gather. I'm terrible at organization/leading anything so I'll leave it up to sam/ryan. If we're still out at 10 Jay said he might be interested as well.

the winch and maybe the 44, its burried under 4 feet of snow
hmm guess I'll take the dirty POS then!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

if i get to plan it, i plan to keep it local lol.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Is there any reason I can't use a ring gear spacer and slap a 5.13 ring gear on my current carrier?

I might have to make it myself, too. I can't find one anywhere online.

Sweet taars

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

you should build a 60 before you explode that 44.... again.

find me a way to fit 15" wheels on a 60 cheaply. until then i will polish my turd of a 44.

they arent going on until i gusset the knuckles and finish my truss

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

will the calipers have enough integrity left? and i dont want any of this "h" block falling out bullshit like a lot of people do

i know i can buy a dynatrac or some shit and run 15's. but thats cash monies.

cryo gearz and XRF ball joints.. or those new energy suspension ball joints. i wanna see how much those will be, supposed to come out soon.

oh and RCVs.

I've seen it done, but have no info on reliability. I'd be surprised if it affected the H-blocks at all, you're just taking down the outer height of the caliper.

works for me

you can, but I view it as not really a good idea, kinda like stacking washers up to put high steer arms on :shhh:

alright, time to get the hell out of here and sit on the highway!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

that's why I'm considering 5.71s and 5.89s (yep, close as they get) for the 44/8.8... not sure I like how small the pinion is gonna be though.

If I could only find gears for the 44 to match. I can also get just about any ratio I want. They make them in just about every ratio possible for the 9"
The a-hole plow drivers thought it would be funny to leave a huge snow pile in front of my jeep today. Needless to say I drive through it multiple times until it was spread out and packed down.
Park in front of or on their pile?

i would not cryro the gears seeing that my weak link is my outer shafts.

. if i go that in depth with it anyway i would build a new axle

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My jeep is out of commission for tonight, some asshole screwing around in a truck blew it sideways out of a side street in front of me, and not thinking I put it into a snowbank instead of his bedside. The ice bank under the snow was tall enough to taco my steering.
I might end up out plowing again anyways.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If my MJ is done in time for the Line Mt races, I'm totally doing one this year.

I have the vacation time for it.

I hate you :rof:
