^ This man has a good point.I wouldn't bother either, but that's because there's nofawkingway I could see that a hi-steer tierod would clear the pitman arm at anything close to full bump.
Mark had/has that amount on 33s.You seem to forget that Ross likes sky high lifts.
He had 8" on 35s.

Smaller penis AND bald.
I already told Ross about the tie rod issue.
His answer was to move the steering box forward.
blah blah i can't read blah blah my build will be done 5 years after Anthony's blah blah
I have about 10% of the crossmember left.I think the front crossmember would disagree with this idea. Sure, remove it and do a different one like all you guys did, but I'm really not that concerned about it. And I like the 1/2" of space between my winch and balancer.
Going from the current spot (over-the-knuckle) to under the high steer arms isn't even that much of a gain, and the ram becomes harder to package. I guess I could have built the same kind of thing off the diff cover but higher, but then the hydro lines would be even more bent, and I'm not thrilled about the radius there as it is.
So all that work gains you what?Im also still kinda up in the air about exactly how my steering setup will go. I wanna mount the tierod higher then otk but lower then under the high steer arm so I might build custom arm to line up with the stock steering arms. My box could/will get pushed forward with a custom double sheer pitman arm.

I called him stupid.

I'm just not sure what you are trying to accomplish over setups that are proven to work, are simple ans easy.
Not beating you up, really trying to figure this out.
Like a double pretzel. It was cool. You and Sam both know how the crossmember looked before I took that disaster out.
...but then he can run one of those awesome guards that the wranglers do!you cant really move the steering box forward much without making a lame approach angle
i have thought about this.

At least I'm getting something done :moon:I might not be able to read, but im not wasting my time with a stereo system, im simply wasting time overall. Ill see be done before him though![]()
you should have seen that jeep when i got it.
it looked like someone took a bat to an ugly girls face
prove it!I might not be able to read, but im not wasting my time with a stereo system, im simply wasting time overall. Ill see be done before him though![]()
it looked like a deer used it as a hammock. You and Sam both know how the crossmember looked before I took that disaster out.
WTF?or you could be awesome and mount the steering box on the axle and run long power steering lines (wish i could find a pic, but i have seen this)
