THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I used to. Then I blew one of mine up and kinda need them all now :(

I do have a 21 spline 231 with no tailcone hanging around somewhere or other but I couldn't find the damn thing when I went looking for it last week.

What year does the guy need one out of?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think Keith has one...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Holy crap I can't wait to get out of here.

I think tonight I'm gonna start ripping the stock knuckles off and mount the SOLIDs to figure out the steering ram crap.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Have fun getting the lower kingpin out.

:D
It's a goddam bearing. Get it right! :flamemad:

:spin1:

I might work on my soundsystem more tonight.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

its friday night. i'm going out. maybe "wheeling"

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You goofy kids and your kingpins. If I wanted to take the knuckles off my 60 all I would have to do is unbolt the balljoints. All truly awesome axles have balljoints.

I also can't wait to get the hell out of here. Need to cook some stuff for the UJ party tomorrow and maybe work on the jeeps. I STILL haven't put the new transfer case in the 96 and since it's supposed to snow tonight, I might do that and then bomb around town for a while.

I also can't wait to get the hell out of here. Too bad I haven't even been here for an hour yet :(

So, this morning I replaced the starter in my Jeep. Still doesn't start. I think I officially quit until the spring. By the time I was putting the new starter in I had to watch what my fingers were doing because I couldn't feel them

Didn't you need a new battery for it?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Didn't you need a new battery for it?

I've tried 3 different ones, at least one of which I knew was good, at least as far as Scott knew. Good or not, with each of the 3 batterys in it, it did the same thing as if they were all equally drained. I still put a battery in the car before leaving for work and I'll stop by the parts store this weekend sometime and have it load tested. If it checks out fine then I definitely quit. If it says it's junk I'll tell Scotty his RedTop is probably no good too? :dunno:

I hate figuring this shit out. At least the starter I took out looked to be the original, so it's cheap insurance to have it done anyhow. Not a total waste.

Check for continuity from the cable at the battery down to the starter.

Mine went crap on my '91.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have no experience notching tube period so no help there.

But how much tube work do you actually expect to do...?

:dunno: Justin is buying one of my shotguns soon for $250, so I figured what the hell. It'd be cool to have one of these :dunce:

you can't even get your jeep to start and now you're a big bad fabricator all of a sudden?

:laugh3:

It starts. I live on a hill and it's a 5spd. :chef:

I did check that, but maybe I fawked up with using/reading what the multimeter was telling me. I didn't try jumping the solenoid with the new starter in, so if I get lucky and that works, you can bet your ass I'm gonna have a push button ignition
