if your going to be at the UJ thing Ill bring you the one out of mine if you want it.
Checked the diff cover magnet (if any), already, I assume?
That sucks. Hopefully no other damage.
Already check around each side gear inside the carrier? I had a pin hide back there after dropping it trying to put my aussie back in, took me forever to find it.

Trick for lining the damn box up -
Get yourself a 6 inch long 7/16 coarse thread bolt. Cut the head off. Put a big ****in' slot across it for your largest flat blade screwdriver, or grind flats onto the end where the head was.
Spin the headless bolt a few turns into one of the steering box holes, slap the spacer on it, line it up and hang it on the frame.
Thread the other two bolts in a few turns.
Unscrew the headless bolt with a flat blade screwdriver or a pair of vise grips. Thread the real bolt in.
I got sick and tired of screwing around with this when I was taking my bumper on and off while building it and made an alignment peg like this, been using it ever since, it makes steering boxes a lot less frustrating.
thats a good Idea. thats how the FSM says to install the oil pan gasket/ oil pan.
Chevy oil pan gaskets come with some little plastic things you thread into the block. just slide the oil pan over them and walk away and grab some bolts.
DB Dave, was that you cruising down 93s past the gas tank around 7:20am?
Went to go see Doug Benson last night, very funny.
Then drive back home, wake up at 6:30-7 and drive down to Hartford for Kate's sisters graduation. Spend all day there then drive back home, make dinner, and go to bed.
This coming weekend I'm going wheeling whether or not I fix anything on my MJ. I don't give a ****.
thats what i always do as well but it just felt like it was hanging up on something plus i had to call it quits earlier than i wanted because i had to clean up and get back to boston to do dinner with the gfI always jammed 3 long screw drivers in the holes and then took on out at a time and replaced it with a bolt. Used the screw drivers to move the box to line it up.
I went to see DB Dave on Saturday, not very funny
