THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Also, since I moved my front axle forward slightly from last time, my UCA heims are pretty much out of thread engagement. Going to have to build a new one, but no big deal since it's just 1.75 x .120.

drill new holes in your brackets.

done

im a genius

just saved you time and money

youre welcome

no need to thank me, just pay it forward

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My drill bits are pretty awesome.

But I fail to see how that's less effort than using a chop saw and a welder.

Your logic sucks.

less chop wheels used= less chop saw wheels you have to buy= less receipts printed at home depot= save the rainforest= monkeys still have a place to live.

don't you even care one bit about those poor monkeys?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm getting bored sitting around waiting for this delievery truck. So bored in fact, I've started ordering more parts and tools. Tube bender die finally ordered and should be here end of next week.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My brother just found out he passed the bar!

Someone is getting hammered tonight while cleaning the 489 case.
congrats!

I'd rather chop a piece of tube and weld in my adapters then drill 4 holes through 5/16" steel.

Eff that.
I need to build a mini drill press that will clamp onto things under vehicles. I'll become a millionaire overnight.

were they as free as your 440?
oh snap

I remember Bill used something that like for his rocker supports. His father borrowed it from his shop or something?

I think it had a strong magnetic base, I dunno, I never saw it.

Sounded badass though.

It was borrowed and returned. Neat little, heavy, thing. To bad they cost so darn much!

Yeah, those exist.

I had to rent one a few years ago for a retrofit job at a steel mill...had to redrill 36 motor baseplates. = 144 holes, 3/4" diameter, through 1" plate. That thing kicked ass.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Those magnetic milwaukees are super badass. Steel company we do some lifts for has a few of them, except instead on the handle feed they have some sort of auto feed. They just chew thru damn near anything, I watched them put 4 on a gaint I beam. Just turned them on and walked away until they're done.
