THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Those magnetic milwaukees are super badass. Steel company we do some lifts for has a few of them, except instead on the handle feed they have some sort of auto feed. They just chew thru damn near anything, I watched them put 4 on a gaint I beam. Just turned them on and walked away until they're done.

shut up ross.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

anyone have brilliant ideas for getting sheets of 3/4 ply up to the second floor of my house? Ideas that won't risk my life but can be :gee:-fabbed together with shit I happen to have sitting in the yard will be given priority. The windows are too small unless I take the glass out.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

smartphone.

That's what I'm doing now.

Sucks when what I really want to do is send a PM to Lance @ PSC with pictures attached. Which I can do, but it completely monopolizes my attention, vs. doing it in the background while doing work stuff too on my work PC.

I think I might be getting a new laptop here soon, and if that's the case I'll just set my phone as a 3G hotspot and go that route. I'm getting 650kbps download/600kbps upload over 3G so it's not even that bad.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So it turns out a Dana 300 actually bottoms out when mounting to an NSG370 trans...the input assembly is about 1/8" too long.

$45 shipped for a 3/8" clocking ring w/hardware to convert it to driver side drop and alleviate this bottoming issue.

No 7/8" spacer ring needed, no longer input gear needed. The tailshaft on a NSG370 has its own seal so I don't even need to worry about engaging that like you do with a NV4500.

Cool stuff.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

nifty. I was quite pleased to discover that NV3500s (at least the one I got out of a '99 1500) have a seal there, too.

Cool beans.

Sounds like you haven't hit any major issues yet besides the flywheel BS.

I saw that pic of the starter too. Looks like plenty of clearance.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Pretty sure he uploaded that video a long while ago.

Like months ago?

Besides I thought you were a big block fanboy like me.

Big dumb engines for big dumb people.

i just came across the video now, oh well.

big blocks are manlier.

i made a wanted ad on the internets looking for a chevy v8 fuel injected parts truck.

if anything cool comes up for the right price thats what the j10 will get for the time being.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The trans fell off my furniture dolly yesterday while rolling it across the ground, I just picked it up and put it back on.

Also unloaded it out of the back of my truck by myself.

Thing is like half the weight of a NV4500.
