I'm getting 2x6 3/16 for the actual rockers but I just don't want to have to buy more shit for the legs.
See what you can find on craigslist. Make sure the voice coil leads aren't blown and the surround is nice and tight. Tighter surround = punchier.Cheap/free is the name of this game. I want it to sound good. Not ridiculous.

Got some 4 gauge that i can steal from you? Maybe some RCA signal cables? How about a small amp. My amp is way too big for what I need.
I KNOW YOU GOT SOMETHING KEN DON'T LIE TO ME!
Just hit 83k. The car has been very easy to work on and were it not for an enormous pothole, this would be the first thing that's gone wrong in a year and half. I consider most of the things I need to do right now general maintenance.which is why i'll never drive a VW without a warranty. how many miles on that thing?
I'm convinced that the intake runner stuck open is due to oil leaking out around the plug and into the coil. A good cleaning and replacing the other parts should fix that. Some people say they've just tightened the valve cover down more and the leak goes away, but I'm just going to replace it while I'm in there. That blows.
I'm sure there is, I've never done it though.
Might as well do the hub seals while you've got it apart. I had to do mine not too long ago.
Also, make sure you get the AAM-sized u-joint and not a Spicer-sized joint.
Do you have to remove the hubs to get to the e-brake stuff...?
I didn't need to on my D80...?
Never worked on an AAM11.5.
Is there a way to flush out injectors to clean them rather than replacement?

Did you call Andy at LetzRoll?
Remove injector and clean it out that way, get a pick or something into the nozzle and make sure theyre clear.
Aren't there diaphragms in there that I could puncture?Remove injector and clean it out that way, get a pick or something into the nozzle and make sure theyre clear.

A quick search resulted in me agreeing with myself that using a pick would indeed be dumb. A pick wont fit into the jets of a carb(closest thing to an injector i've cleaned) and an injector I would think could get wallowed out easily since they're plastic. They make needles that might be able to do it but I've used injector cleaner in a bottle and it definitely makes a difference.
We should go to Zacharys tomorrow morning.
