What I want to know is why people were on their computers in the middle of a fine Saturday and not working on something.
http://newenglandjeepz.org/forum/for-sale/comanchee-pickup/msg95246/?boardseen#new MJ f/s locally, cheap. Buddy of mine so let me know if you need me to get you in touch with him
My Jeep failed inspection and then I was in Maine, does that count for being outside?Seriously. I was working on a rav4, but at least I was welding not on the computer
8am on a sunday and I'm about to start my brake line, wheel cylinder, and gas tank project... Hell yeah! Weather is PERFECT

I kindof do have an insider. But my electrical gremlins came back on the drive to the inspection (the same ones that fixed themselves on the drive to the UJ xmas party) so my turn signals weren't working properly and one of the things I NEEDED to have working to pass was lights. So I get to start debugging my turn signal grounding issue now  Well it failed for that and I had a reverse light out (the one set of lights I didn't check before going to get the inspection) and my license plate wasn't mounted to the bumper (I had every intent to mount it before inspection but completely forgot about it when I was rushing to patch my exhaust and replace my brake light). My steering is still kinda sloppy but that passed fine. Oh and while backing out of the inspection bay my engine was whining a bit, I think a bearing somewhere might be on its way out. Or maybe it was just a sound I'm not used to hearing since I don't usually drive in large garages and hear every noise my Jeep makes. The guy doing the inspection was asking about if my rear axle was welded due to the scrubbing but I got to explain lockers to him.why'd it fail? i thought you had an insider!
damn... that's crazy.Anthony, remember when we were talking about the collar that you press on the rear axle shafts, and how it would be impossible to hammer on?
Well I thought my 12 ton press was going to explode while doing it yesterday. I'm sure its because it is a Harbor Freight press, but it kept shifting the axle to one side, so it would get crooked, and it took me about 10 minutes to do one.
Also, I told you there was metal shavings afterwords.
