yeah i was definitely going to make an inside brace. the JCR ones are so cheap until valentines day though. how tightly did these mounts fit against the frame rails? were you going to cut these mounts off entirely and weld on the other plate? ...i need to draw some pictures of what i have been considering...
i measured unibody rail to rail and it was like 32 5/8" and the bumper was about 33" inside of mount to inside mount

yeah, it's too stiff. you want it to give a little more so you get better flex.
