Team V8

Great, Im very glad to hear that!

Well, the second half of Team V8 now has a 6 liter in it! I got it in (was a MAJOR pain in the booty) in a few hours and then started on the other things it need to go vroom. I got the Computer mounted, the fuse block mounted, the Drive by wire gas pedal modified and mounted, and also spent an hour or two trying to get the rest of the under dash harness figured out. All in all a very successful day, got a lot of stuff done!

Sweet!!! Sounds like you had a real productive day. Can't wait to see it.

Pics?

Tyler, you need a video camera... my head hurts from watching. :D

Someone HAS to be there with a [real] video camera when they do a dyno pull.

~ James

I'm def gonna be there with a proper camera. Thats gonna be a site to see.

sorry for the night time shots and all the flash but the time i got home it was dark...

Very clean. That looks great Blake, so does it drive now?

Not quite, still needs a radiator mount, another spark control module, the trans and PS coolers hooked up and mounted, and the speed sensor wired up.

By the way Blake, that is one Bitchin' exhaust!

seriously dude. thats awesome, definently give me notice i want to see that bad boy on the dyno.....

bought me a carrier with spider gears bearings and a set of gears that are severely chipped but i dont need the gears anyways...

all for $30 the bearings may not be good but they dont look bad either...

Cool, it is a low speed carrier (as in 3.92 and numerically higher) correct?

correct. made sure of that, atleast per his ad, ill double check the gear teeth for a ratio.

now i just need some hubs rotors and alittle grinding and ill be rolling on a d44 and i can sell all my d30 stuff to you guys waiting on me :D

ratio confirmed at 4.09 (45 ring and 11 pinion) so the carrier is good.

tyler is either going to pick me up some ford hubs and rotors or im going to buy dans axle...

There fixed it for ya ;)

That would be awesome if you ran both front and rear axles gotten from dan's auto salvage garage.
