Swap party - And parts for sale

Johnny, you worked us like dogs. Oh wait, we are. At least we can say we were the first ones there, and the last ones out- literally. The jeep came out really well, it looks damn good. I guess now it's time time to start getting people together to fix my heep....

Thanks to everyone who came out today.

Thanks again guys. You're the greatest.

Did you end up using any of those parts I left for you? I hope SOMEONE puts them to good use. ;)

So Rick, that's your wooden creeper, huh? Grant was about to send it to the Smithsonian. :) We'll find a way to get it back to you. Don't know about a hammer though.

First trick they played was yanking my coil wire, pretending that Kyung may have fried my PCM while doing some welding. Then Grant put a big-ass zip-tie on my driveshaft, and told me to go for a test drive.

Eddie, those seatbelts are kinda worn and frayed. I wouldn't feel safe giving those to you. Sorry.

Cal, used the longer brake lines. Still haven't measured to see what size shocks I need yet.

Robert, can't go wheeling just yet. I'm gonna have to do some major fender trimming. Grant does also to fit his new 35s. So we were talking about a fender trimming party. Rick can bring his plasma cutter. Also I don't have rock rails yet. No way am I destroying my rockers.:)

Cute, isn't it?

Sorry I left early guys, as it turned out, I didn't need to.
Picked up my tires from Mikey and got stuck in traffic (who the hell has traffic jams on Saturday for Christ sake?)
Got home to find my irrigation guy had already left....bastid!
Oh...BTW I woke up this morning and figured out a way I could have used
my plasma cutter using just 110 outlets. Damn, I hate that!
Next time we need to cut something up I'll have a junction box made!
Anyway...what sort of dirty tricks did they play on you Johnny?
When I left there was wispers of subtrifuge... :D (did I spell that right Cracker?)
Rick R

Rick, I have a 220 outlet over by the old heep... you could have plugged and played.

Oh well.

Now, as for gramma gurnie's creeper.... Holy chit, got wood?

BTW...did anyone find my hammer?

Rick R

Overheard while Rick was beating on chit,

"Well, it ain't my jeep".

Beat away, Rick!

No you didn't. You had a 30amp 110 outlet. Unless I missed something...:dunno:
And for the creeper....keep your hands off my wood!!!:D
And I exspect it returned in undamaged condition....with its
dignity in tact!!
Oh...BTW, I found my hammer!!

No, I did.

The silver conduit (only two outlets on either side of the shop) is 220. The rest (dressed lightly in cream) is 110.

Yes, you missed something.

BTW, your uncle Lester wants his creeper back....

Ha. When I got back from my test drive, Grant, Curt, and Kyung were helping Bryce swap my 98 rear axle and leafs into his Jeep. These guys just didn't want to stop working.

As we were unbolting the leafs from Bryce's Jeep, Kyung discovered that the left forward bolt was spinning in place. So the decision was made to abort the operation.

So to answer the question, we were chowing down at In-and-Out at 10 pm. We were trying to figure out when things went wrong, since the rear end was swapped out at 10 am. :dunno:

IMG_0001.jpg

Hmm, how does one of these come out?

IMG_0004.jpg

Kyung getting right up in there.

IMG_0006.jpg

Yeah baby!

Civilized axle swaps...

Sorry about the flare, I new it was loose when I removed the inner splash shield. There were a couple of remarks made about that being loose by several of us but I guess we forgot to tell you. Thats what happens when there are too many indians and not enough chiefs! Oh well, like Kejtar siad flares are over rated. On the upside the LOOSE-NUTS-BUMPER was designed for use with front TJ flares. So get to sourcing!!!:laugh3: Had a good time working on your junk and this is the best turnout I have ever seen at a wrenching party!!! Good job to everyone. Thanks Grant for the workspace and look forward to talking with you more about bussiness.;) :bunny:

No biggie on the flare. It just looks a little nekkid without it. And you're right, I have to trim anyways.

Mike, those doors are waiting for you. And Armen's rails. We have to figure out a time to meet up.
