she is actually in fair condition except for the minor deer damage.

the tires can be aired up and the rust is in the parts i will prolly cut out ike the rocker panel and quarter panel. so not much of a loss.

i pick it up and bring her home tomorrow!!! yea:guitar:

Well here she is. Sorry for the horrible cell phone pics but it is all i have right now.

I went to the junkyard yesterday and picked up some stuff for the project

I found:

  1. aluminum radiator
  2. powersteering pump( dont know if it'll work cuz it came from a 96)
  3. electric fan
  4. new airbox
These were all things that i needed because of the incident with the deer.

Some cool things i picked up:
  1. over head console for the 95' with temperature guage and compass
  2. new aftermarket radio bracket.
  3. dash panel for the 95' (mine was cracked)
  4. yellow oil and tranny dipstick
  5. verizon cellphone charger that i needed
Today I accomplished:

  1. Removed bad radiator and condensor.
  2. removed all A/c lines...kept compressor (possible OBA????)
  3. removed cruise control
  4. removed P/S pump to be replaced
NOTE: My engine compartment is super uncluttered w/o a/c lines and cruis control. i can actually work on the damn thing w/o scrapin my self up.

What i need to accomplish tommorow:
  1. Buy a few items
  • H/d fan clutch
  • water pump
  • theromostat
  • serpentine belt
  • lotsa pb blaster.... did i say it was rusty???
  • Antifreeze
2. start putting new parts on.

NOTE: If you are going to do a heating/cooling overhaul may i suggest that you remove radiator... makes every thing sooooo much easier to get to. i only did it because i had to get the damaged radiator outta there. but WOW am i glad i did.

feel free to comment although not neccessary cuz i feel like i am kinda talkin to myself. it is kinda a check off list for myself.

Barrel forward... Aint it nice to feel like you accomplished something.

Maybe name this one Sooperhero. ( c HERO kee )

i like the idea!! i was thinkin about sellin the 95 and gettin a dd/tow rig but then i remembered i have the superman sticker on the back of it. i would either have to scrape it off... or take the window out. but i am not leaving that sticker on the jeep. I AM THE ONLY SUPERMANXJ!!

I have V8 ZJ springs and a spring spacer. PM me if you would like them. You could do a bastard pack for the rear for cheap.

Sorry for the long delay!!... i have been busy workin.

Well since i moved here in july i have not had a fabrication project in the new shop so yestarday i got on it!!!

i just cut a stock front bumper to make it a stubby and then welded the brackets to it. i also got a JCR prerunner hoop and welded it to that. this weeks projects are to fab up some tow hook brackets for the front, and make a stubby for the rear!!... i am contemplating cuting up an isuzu rodeo smittybilt rear tube bumper and making side guards.

I love cheap jeep builds!! make my creative juices flow!!!

Will get pics up tonight!!
