Strawberry Creek Run! Sat. May 17th!

Hey!

according to the Gimmie the Runs thread, the 3rd weekend of May, Saturday the 17th is the Strawberry Creek Run! :wave:

The plan is to run Strawberry Creek on a Saturday for a day run, Saturday, May 17th!

Were going to run the trail from the North to the South:clap:

Meet up in West Sacramento, at the Chevron, right off Jefferson BLVD at 8:00am

plan on being at the trail head at 9:45am to get an early start...

Directions to the trail head later this week.

Plan on bringing a lunch and some drinking water... Manifold Burritos do nicely :looney:

The wells guide says that this is a 'Difficult' Trail, but don't be afraid to bring a rig on 31's out... Spotters and a tug here and there from another rig are part of the fun!

Rocker protection is advised, tow points are mandatory, shoot me or Phil a PM if you have any concerns or questions about rigs.

Andrey (Slonopotam) has advised that there is a good chance of snow and ice on the trail, so be prepared with warm clothing.

Jeep is ready, I have the in-laws in town to watch the kids, this is one trail I have been looking to run for some time now, and I have to work on the 17th! 8:30 am till 8:30 pm!

WTF? did you all plan every run to land on the few weekend days I have to work or what? How the heck did you find out my days of work? :dunno:

I need to wheel, this sucks!

Yes, the turnoff to the trail is east of Kyburz.

Yes, east.
The bridge is hard to see from the highway. I had to slow down to 30 in order not to miss it. There is a place to park a few vehicles across the bridge.

Was on my way to pismo last weekend and my fuel pump went out on the freeway in davis. If anybody has an extra fuel pump they want to sell me on the cheap i'll drive and i'll have room for one or two passengers.
