So I need to fix my junk a little....

I need to spend some quality time under my junk. Apparantly I had some mad springwrap at some time, and now I need to replace my perches.

Does anyone have a grinder, welder, and time to help me next weekend? Sometime Sunday, actually? I'd be happy to help out on any projects you have going, too.

Thanks.

I've got all of the above, but this weekend isn't good for me. Tuesday (12/13) would actually work.

oh, and do you have perches? we could make some cheap, easy, and burly as anything with 2.5" .250wall box tube and some additional plate.

call me if ya wanna come up.

I can help next weekend. I'll weld both sides this time!

Brett, I've got a final on Wednesday so Tuesday isn't really good. Then I've got a final on Saturday, so Sunday's best for me.

Billy, thanks for the offer.

CRASH, what do you want for lunch? Maybe fix my shock mounts, too?

Opie, if CRASH says you're welcome, you can ride up with me.

I think I might try a pair of RE's antiwrap perches this time. My bent perches are Mopar parts.

Yes, I can do the shocks mounts as well. I may be able to fix the mounts you have, I've fixed several peeps mounts with a little heat, and then gussets to box the front and back section to the tube.

Sunday is good. Hopefully you won't have to help deliver a baby. :D

As long as he cleans up first. I don't mind a little gear oil on the boy, but no brake cleaner.

The gear lube should help things "slide" a little easier. Just make sure Andy warms up the tire spoons a little. Jeni says they get damn cold & not very pleasent... Remember, portapowers are your friends.

What about the winch and snatch-block?

no doubt he read that part, and yet didn't respond to it. that's a gentle "no".
good call :hang:

that is what i had assumed, but then I just wanted to be sure...

and looking at the way that he told Troy off - i thought that he might have just not seen it
