Slickrock Pics

My Dad and I loaded up the dog and some lunch for a day trip to go check out Slickrock. Neither one of us have run this trail so we didn’t really know what to expect.
Turned out to be a beautiful day! It was very pretty coming across the trail and seeing some new territory. Quite a few people on the Alpine lake side of the trail for a Friday but only saw one JK run the whole trail just in front of us. The jeep ran great other than needing to adjust the linkage for the transfer case so it will stay in 4lo. It even walked right up the staircase first try. I’m loving this set up!

Ive ran it on the quad but would definitely like to run it in the jeep some time. Plus I want to get the kayak on relief reservoir so it would be cool to do both!

I was up there all weekend! Good times. Even our midnight run down the stairsteps and up the buggy line. So much fun!

Labor day weekend. I tried buggyline for the first time and it was a success! Got a video too. Tried again in the dark and still made it up but was a bit scary when it slid to the left halfway up. Just held my breath and went right, worked out fine!
