A couple of friends of mine asked if I wanted to tag along on a Rubicon trip they were putting together. I figured I would give it a shot to see if I could make it in my stockish jeep on bald 31's, with just lockers on both ends.
All in all we had a great trip, the only carnage was a trailer tire and flooding on the 395 on the way home.

We had an absolute blast, trail was not that crowded since it was the weekend before the Jamboree. Stayed at Buck Saturday night and was fortunate to take in this view.

and 395 at 4 corners flooded:
All in all it was a great trip. Honestly, don't let little to no lift and small tires deter you from running a trail. Granted I had lockers f/r, but if you willing, grab a couple of friends or acquaintances on
and go out and see what your rig is capable of.
