a bunch of nuts to hand out to the nuts... You know, I might just have to make them a raffle prize. Oh Captain :phone:

For most part it sounds like every one is running modified xjs. What is out there for a stock xj sitting on 31's? A couple weekends ago I manuvered my way up and over Gold Mountain, only getting hung up in a couple of spots on the back side of the rock garden heading back up to the top of the mountain. Are the hammer trails good for spectators to tag along or is it to long of a trail?

Fish, we will be sporting a Wj on a BB with 245/75/16 tires. You are more than welcome to tag along with us on the bunny slopes.

Looks like ill make it out their in my new project junker. I doubt ill hit any of the trails yet.......still need to run a line for the arb, mount compressor, rear leafs, sye, cv, blah blah blah.......just not enough hours in the day!

Mike G i got them shocks off my rig that ill bring for you!

What exactly are the bunny slopes at JV?

I went last year in my 96 XJ with 2 inch BB and 245/75R16 MT/R's and mainly went around in the sand... I got there kind of late, so everyone was already out and about-

Is there a bunny slope run planned?

Does that go with the "bunny Slope"? This is really starting to get interesting.. And I now agree, PETA will not be happy if they know what your doing with a bunny and sprinkles..

If you read the event info that has been posted we said there will be runs for everyone. I want to make it clear that I will make sure we have an easy run on Sat. I have the route already planned, and if I can't find someone knowledgeable of the area to lead it I will lead it myself. The plan is to finish the run at the top of one of the hard canyons so folks can walk down and watch the hard run rigs finish their trail.

One of the goals of this event is to provide opportunity for everyone. If you want to run extreme trails, hard, moderate, or easy, there will be a run. If you want to drive out and watch the hard run, you can do that, or if you want to ride with someone there are always empty seats.

This is a great time to get together with other XJ'ers, see old friends and meet new ones, and check out all the rigs. Last year we had 46 rigs, which was the largest XJ event we've had in SoCal. This year looks to have even more participants. We're going to have a good time.

I also hear we're going to have real good raffle. Winches, Beard seats, BFG tires, and more. We donated $2000 from the raffle last year to Friends of Panamint Valley, and hopefully this year we can do more.

See you there,
