Not sure yet. I will do some calculating this weekend and see what I come up with.

Can anyone tell me about how long it takes to get to JV meeting spot from OC? I am thinking about 1.5 hours.

Thanks

It takes me a good 1.5 hrs to get there from Corona. This also depends on the time you guys leave. If you leave friday night after work, count on a 2-3 hr trip, depending on vegas traffic.

I'd say 2 hrs @ 75 MPH is about right from OC. Calc in some extra travel time to account for the big slow rigs if you like. Then again even where my jeep was at before i'd still drive 80 MPH on the flat stuff, hills...well thats a whole different story. Even with 4.88's the hills sucked ass.

Yeah. I am thinking of leaving Lake Forest around 6:00 AM on Saturday. Not exactly sure yet. I will stil have stock gears and 31's, so running 75 - 80 is no problem. But I hope to be traveling with a group.

you guys will have fun. I'll be at home wrenching, cursing and throwing tools.

Robert we need to arrange somewhere to meet and we can drive out together let me know i am in torrance so i am farther i actually planned on leaving like at 5 in the morning

You guys that are coming from the south, it's 50 plus miles from I 15 and Bear Valley Rd to where our camp will be on Means Dry Lake. Much of that is through town, and it will take you more than an hour. So, figure your time to Victorville, then add at least 1 hr 15 min.

The hardcore run will leave at 8:00 am, aired down and disconnected, the other runs might leave a little later. Those of you who are planning to drive up Sat morning should leave as early as possible.

Actually, I THINK it would be quicker to take the 10 out to the 62, through Yucca Valley, then to the 247. Or not?

so confusing hoepfully i find someone to drive out there with me or someone to follow.... maybe someone will let me ride along in their rig when i get there

That depends on where you're coming from. I know some of the San Diego guys use that route, but I haven't heard anyone further west going that way.

Mapquest it if you want. Use "Old Woman Springs Rd and Boone Rd, Johnson Valley, CA" as you're destination.

Yup...it's a toss-up. Pretty much the same either way - +/- a couple of miles and +/- a couple of minutes.

I'll be going through Yucca Valley, my fatherr lives there and he'll be coming out with.

I'll be leaving sometime Friday late afternoon or evening from Downtown L.A.

Thanks,

Early Saturday morning. We would probably have to meet about 5:30 or so at Green River in order to get to JV by 7:30.

So far, we have you, Kevin, Curt, and me caravaning up.

We will talk more at your lift party this weekend. This is still on, right?
